Howdy, I thought I’d get one last newsletter in for 2020 before we kiss that year goodbye and welcome in the new optimistic, restorative, refreshing and “not our first rodeo” new year!  No matter what it brings, I think we will be better prepared than what this year threw at us hey!  Ever the glass half full kind of people, Ray and I feel in our Swingin Old Bones that this will be a stella year for swing dancing, community, new friendships, more corporate and arts and festival fun for all.  Are you in?

Welcome 2021 and Welcome to our first Social Dance for 2021. Join us in the good ole fashioned Aussie Spirit of community & dance. Northern Rivers/Mullum Monthly Socials

Kicking off 2021 with a swing Dancing social bang. Our new Home at Mullumbimby Ex Services Club will also be home to our Monthly swing dance social on the 1st FRIDAY of every Month – 7pm (NSW time) and will cost between $10 and $20 pp depending on bands/entertainment on the night.Brought to you by @Swing On In and we promise to always create a safe, joyous and fun swing dancing space for you to dance your troubles away, meet new friends and improve your Swing Dancing.Our First Dance will be Friday 5th of February 2021 and we are so happy to announce that our Crooner Favs @Sebastiaan Scholtens and @Rhydian Lewis are back on board to delight and entertain you all night with their effortless Crooner Styles of Swingin Tunes!

Pin Up/Retro and Kustom Kulture Looks also covered.

This class will start with the fundamentals and we will transition through to a finished look together.

Just before we head off into our new world of fabulousness I will run you through your best shapes for your body, for posing, for pictures or just for good posture.This class is open to all ages and if you are wanting to achieve some of these looks? Then this is the class for you…Class Time

Classes begin promptly so please arrive 10 mins prior to class commencement so as not to miss out on any of the fun!Our workshops specialise in participation and everyone getting involved, so to ensure you achieve the most out of our classes we advise you to bring some necessary items.

NB: Hair is easier to work with if it is not FRESHLY washed…Styling tools such as hot rollers, foam rollers, curling irons are optional as we instruct you on styles with and without the use of any tools.
Intermediate Workshop attendees need to bring (in addition to basics above) the following:Slide Combs (matching your hair colour)
Hot Rollers and/or Hot Sticks

NB: We do sell the following items at the workshop if you wish to bring some extra cash with you.
