Swing On In Newsletter! Lets keep the Lindy Hop Momentum Going!

Hello, Swing Dance Enthusiasts, Lindy Hop Lovers, and Dance Community!

We\’re delighted to have so many new faces joining our dance family, and we\’re thrilled to see familiar ones at class. Here’s a quick rundown of what\’s coming up:

1️⃣ Last Week of Free Beginners Classes:

This week marks the final round of our free beginners classes. We hope our new friends have fallen head over heels for the dance, just as we have. It\’s been a joy watching you all groove and find your rhythm.

2️⃣ Spooky Success at Mullum Swing Dance:

Our spooky Mullum Swing Dance event was an absolute hit. It was a night filled with fantastic vibes, and we were fortunate to have Charlotte\’s Web serenading us with sweet tunes and the ever-entertaining Rhydian Lewis keeping the party going. That wraps up our social dances at Mullumbimby for this year.

🎄 End of Year Christmas Party:

But wait, the fun isn\’t over! Our next big social event is just around the corner – our End of Year Christmas Party. It\’s going to be a tiki Hawaiian themed extravaganza at the Kingscliff Community Hall. You\’ll find all the details below.

⏸️ Classes End for the Year:

Please note that our regular classes will finish for the year on Thursday 14 December 2023 and will resume on Wednesday 31 January in 2024.  During this break, we have some exciting plans.

☀️ Summer Workshops and More:

Over the holiday season, we\’ll be offering summer workshops in our Gold Coast studio for those who can\’t get enough of dancing. We\’ll also be out and about, hitting the social dance scene more frequently. If you know of any upcoming events, don\’t hesitate to invite us. Ray and I are looking forward to six weeks of simply enjoying the social scene without the organisational duties.

AREA ERA – a time travel extravaganza – Melbourne – Saturday 18th November 2023

ROAD TRIP ANYONE???The excitement continues as we head to Melbourne on Saturday 18th November to co-host the most epic event of the year – “AREA  ERA.” It’s a party through the Decades, a time-travel journey filled with dancing, music, and visual delights. We’ll start from the Roaring 1920s and groove our way through the decades, ending at the Y2K era. Join us for an unforgettable journey through time with Retropolis Melbourne.There is SO much entertainment its crazy!  Check out the lineup on the link and you can get your tickets HERE
