Ok Kids, here’s the SWING On In skinny for the Cooly Rocks On Weekend… This is where we will be having fun and dancing …. All welcome to join the party with us. Xx Ray Keepence and Chrissy Keepence

Wednesday 7th of June – It’s a Swing Thing: Dancing with Rhydian Lewis & The Residuals on Stage at Twin Towns at 11am for the Morning Melodies Show with Rhydian Lewis… A few of us will be dancing on stage but you are all welcome to come out and dance if you find yourself free. http://www.twintowns.com.au/show/its-a-swing-thing

Thursday 8th of June & Friday 9th of June – Dance Workshops with Chrissy & Ray & Bruce Elder (Syd) and lots of others – $10 per class – great variety… check out when Ray and I are teaching, also Bruce Elder from Swing To It Sydney and Chrissy will be Teaching Rockabilly together (Get amongst it and add variety to your dance!) – https://www.facebook.com/rockondanceworkshops/

Friday 9th of June – Lucky Seven Our Favourite Swingin Bad Boy Band from Radadelaide. (A Rad Adelaide!). These boys know how to play and play up to the dancers.. Guaranteed a fun night and this is where Ray and I will be on Friday 9th of June at South Tweed Sports Club – 4 Minjunbgal Drive Tweed Heads, NSW.. Saturday 10th of June – SWING On In Flashmob & Hand Jivin Mix at Cooly Rocks On – Event : https://www.facebook.com/events/309968106107096

Meet at 10.15am at Jack Evans Boat Harbour – (Number 19 on the map below) Just behind Twin Towns Services Club – on the cusp of Coolangatta and Tweed Heads. First Flash Mob is at 10.45am whereby we will crank the music up and start dancing, crowds or no crowds we will be sure to gather attention… After about 15 mins of social dancing we will instigate and “everybody joins in” Hand Jivin Fun… **Wink** Everyone wants to join the party but not everyone can partner “Swing Dance” so adding the Hand Jive brings the inner rocker out of everyone watching… EVERYONE welcome to come and join in.. THEN.. we will tell (those there) where the next Flashmob Pop Up place will be… and we run… shorty George or boogie forward to the new location and do it all over again… (If you can wear bright summery/surfer/tropical/Gold Coast Style so we stand out, that would be awesome!) We will be dancing on Dance Floor (x2) and Grass (x1)

Saturday 10th of June – Swingabilly Ray (yes, that’s RAY, your dance teacher and mate) will be DJ’ing and Emceeing the Miss Cooly Rocks On Pin Up Pageant – The Strand – 2.00pm.
