Swing On In Presents — The Community Tea Dance Series!
Live swing bands, a gorgeous dance floor and great company — this is the event series you didn’t know you needed! Swing On In presents three nights of live swing and jump blues at the CWA Hall, Griffith Street, Coolangatta.

Calling All Dancers — Chevron Island Street Party!

Come and join us for pop-up dancing at the Chevron Island Street Party! We’ll be dancing anywhere and everywhere, entertaining the general public and sharing the joy of swing with the community. 🎉
Ray will provide the music and the vibes — you just bring your good selves! We love days like this — no pressure, just dancing, community and hanging out with each other.

Pizza & Movie Night — A Regular Hit!
The most recent pizza and movie night in the studio was a wonderful hit! We watch a historical swing movie from our collection, share pizza on beanbags, and get to know each other outside the dance floor. It’s always a magic evening. 🍕🎥
We plan to hold these every couple of months. We have a private WhatsApp group for the less public events like these — if you’d like to be added, message Chrissy o 0409 727 888and she’ll add you.
Greazefest — Australia’s No.1 Kustom Kulture Festival!
📅 Saturday 1 Aug & Sunday 2 Aug
📍 Cleveland (Redlands Showground)
We will be at Greazefest — a fabulous rockabilly and Kustom Culture festival in Cleveland! All the details at greazefest.com.
Swing A Billy Ray will be DJing on the Saturday. Lindy Charm School will have a pop-up salon doing hair and makeup and selling vintage clothing. Come up for the day or the whole weekend — it’s a great time with lots of live music. Family friendly — bring the kids! 🎸
Homefront Festival — 1940s Themed Spectacular!
📅 Sunday 16 August
📍 Wolston House, Wacol
On 16 August we will be at the Homefront Festival in Wacol — a beautiful 1940s themed event at the stunning Wolston House, presented by the National Trust of Queensland.
Expect swing music, dancing, living history displays, historic vehicles, heritage demonstrations and a commemorative Victory in the Pacific Day ceremony marking 81 years since the end of WWII in the Pacific. Family friendly! 🇦🇺
Chrissy will have a pop-up salon doing hair and makeup on the day, plus vintage clothing for sale. Come dressed in your finest 1940s attire!
Cairns Swing Festival — Road Trip Time!

📍 Cairns, QLD
Cairns Swing Festival is next up and we are SO excited! Ray and Chrissy plus a few Swing On In kids are making the trip north to support the @SwingRays — along with the Sydney Swing Katz and Lucky Seven.
With that crew involved, this is going to be a bonkers, crazy, fun weekend and we can’t wait! 🎉
SWELL Swings the Fringe — Masquerade Ball 2026!

📍 SWELL Fringe Bar, Currumbin
SWELL Swings the Fringe is back for 2026 as part of the SWELL Sculpture Festival — and this year they’ve upped the experience with a fancy masquerade ball! 🎭
Swing A Billy Ray will be on the decks. Come along, support the arts, and enjoy a beautiful evening of jazz and swing music at the Fringe Bar.
The Great Bunnings Sausage Sizzle Fundraiser!

⏰ 7:00am set up — sizzling until 4:00pm
📍 Bunnings Arundel
We’re firing up the BBQ for a great cause and we’d love your help! Join Swing On In and Beauties Feeling Fabulous Inc. at Bunnings Arundel for a day of delicious snags, swing dancing and community spirit — raising vital funds to support women living with cancer. 💕
Our dancers will be bringing the energy throughout the day — come along, grab lunch, enjoy the atmosphere and help make a real difference! 💃
🙋 We Need You! We’re looking for:
- 🌭 Volunteers to cook and serve on the BBQ
- 💃 Swing dancers to bring the vibe and help attract the crowds
- ❤️ Friends and supporters to come along, buy a sausage and spread the word!
Every sausage sold helps Beauties Feeling Fabulous continue providing free pamper days, practical support and connection for women navigating their cancer journey. 💗
