BLITZ Party last week was wild! What an absolute blast! The sold-out crowd turned MO’s Desert Club House into full-on Bunker central with costumes, shenanigans, live music and non-stop dancing. Think 2026 bunker party vibes… (yeah, let’s not compare it to 1945 😂). Thanks to everyone who came along – the floor was on fire! – Some videos below but you can find all the photos (That I have anyways) HERE
Next up: Sydney Swing Katz Weekend of Workshops (Gold Coast takeover!) I know I’ve hit you with a bunch of $$ commitments early this year – sorry about that! Maybe the universe knew April/May would bring some big family stuff for Ray and me (his upcoming surgery and recovery time), so it front-loaded the fun. Either way, I totally get it – times are tight and choices matter.
But here’s the good news: Even if you can only pick one or two workshops (or just the social), you won’t regret it. No FOMO – you’ll be there leveling up your social dancing with these incredible Katz. Six champions heading our way!
Also there seems to have been some confusion on venue: The correct address for all Swing Katz Workshops is: Southport Community Centre, 7 Lawson Street, Southport. Venue for the social dance is Mermaid Beach Bowls Club (Our normal weekly class venue)

I’ve added day passes and just a note, if you do a day pass or full weekend then your sat night social is included, if you are only buying 1 class then the social dance is an added extra cost. (Make sense?) TIP: Day Passes slightly cheaper than single workshops.

Guest Teachers and Class Program whilst Ray’s in recovery
We are so blessed with a fabulous bunch of awesome people in our Swing On In Dance community who are rallying to steer the Swing On In ship whilst Ray is in recovery. I will also be there most of the time but not all of the time and we have a great sabbatical program to keep you guys on the dance floor learning lots of fun stuff. Introducing some Balboa, cabaret, hip hop and of course Lindy Hop.. Here’s the programs for Gold Coast and Mullum through April. (Flyers at class if you want a hard copy to stick on the fridge BUT.. you don’t need it really, just keep turning up for the love, learnings and laughter!
